How Can white Spots On The Tonsils Be Treated?

ive had flu like symptoms, like a sinus infection now but i cant seem to get well. it hurts to swallow and my tonsils have white spots on them. ive had this almost 2 weeks and tonight im tender to the touch and stiff neck. im female, 41 year old non smoker. i cant taste anything and dont feel like eating. no i havnt seen my family doctor because im hard headed. i seem to run a low grade fever often.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to tonsillitis. It is an inflammation and infection of the tonsils.

I suggest you take prescribed antibiotics such as Augmentin three times a day. I also recommend gargling with salt water and drinking a lot of liquids.
